National team
Run by students. Built together.
HFSD is a team of students who share responsibility for 87 chapters across three regions, with guidance from Humanity First USA. Many on the team led their own chapters first and now bring that experience to work the whole team carries together.

How we work together
Shared work. Shared credit.
The work is divided by focus, not by rank. Every area depends on the others, and every chapter can reach the team directly.
- The national team
- Carries the programs and services every chapter draws on, from Gift of Health and national events to finance, technology, outreach, and social media. Each member looks after one area and works across all of them with everyone else.
- Regional coordinators
- Stay close to the chapters of the Northeast Coast, the Midwest, and the South and West Coast. They bring what campuses need to the full team and carry shared plans out to every HFSO.
- The support team
- Extends outreach, consultation, and social media, so new chapters and new questions always find someone ready to help.
- Our advisors
- Humanity First USA advises the team and keeps the student division's work aligned with the mission and standards of the parent organization.
The chapter network
Eighty-seven chapters strong.
Each HFSO has its own president and executive board, the largest group of student leaders in the organization. The national team exists to support them, and they run the service events on every campus.
