Student leaders from chapters in every region met in East Lansing for the largest weekend on the HFSD calendar. Delegates assembled Kits of Hope for families in need, pitched new service projects to Humanity First USA judges in the HFSD Shark Tank, and presented research in the academic showcase. On Saturday evening, the Gift of Health Gala brought students, donors, and physicians from MSU Health Care, Michigan Medicine, Wayne State, and clinics across Michigan together to raise support for free care in communities with limited access to it. The weekend closed with the HFSD awards, the annual group photo, and the plan for the year of service ahead.

    HFSOs nationwide

    National Fundraising Competition: Masroor School

    HFSOs across the country are fundraising for the Masroor Ahmad School in Alotenango, Guatemala, where more than 300 students learn today. Weekly national leaderboard, national recognition at $100, $250, and $500, and prizes for the top three chapters at the awards ceremony.

    The monthly national call for chapter presidents and boards, held the first Sunday of every month at 8:00 PM ET. Attendance is required, or send a representative from your HFSO.

The 2025 mission season.

Six missions to Guatemala and Mexico served 4,014 patients, with student teams working registration, vitals, and pharmacy alongside physicians.

    Gift of Health: Guatemala (VCU)

    Student teams from VCU worked patient registration, vitals, and pharmacy alongside physicians at rotating free clinics.

    A joint mission by University of Toledo College of Medicine and Temple students supporting community clinics.
